For 20 years we’ve helped dedicated, passionate college students pursue their academic dreams. Since the program’s inception, we have awarded over $1.2 million in scholarships.
To celebrate this milestone, in 2026 the SECU MD Foundation is awarding 20, $10,000 scholarships to Maryland community college students transferring to a Maryland four-year public college/university - a total of $200,000 in scholarship awards.
Students that have transferred from a Maryland community college to a University System of Maryland school in the last 18 months are also eligible.
Applications for the 2026 Scholarship Program are being accepted from February 17 – May 1.

Provide basic personal info, transcript, and four-year acceptance letter to verify eligibility. There are no major or GPA requirements.
Submit your 500-750 word essay reflecting on the connection between education and long‑term financial stability.
